About Me

Having undergone Counselling Psychology integrative training, I work by implementing features of  Cognitive Behavioural, Psychodynamic, and Humanistic approaches in my therapeutic work. Each client is unique and there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to therapeutic approach. Therefore, I believe that psychotherapy should be tailor-made and adapted according to each client’s individual needs.
I provide open-ended, long-term and short-term therapy. In the first session we will be able to explore your expectations in an honest and safe environment and discuss what you are hoping to achieve in the course of therapy. We can explore whether what I have to offer fits with your therapeutic goals and expectations, and if we decide to work together, discuss the length of prospective therapy.

I aim to create an empathic non-judgmental space, characterised by transparency and mutual honesty. I hope that in this space you will feel secure enough to explore your inner conflicts and ambitions. Together we will examine your presenting problems, reasons why these problems have persevered as long as they have and ways by which they can be relinquished. We shall be taking a close look at your behavioural and cognitive (thinking) patterns and examine how they might be contributing to your existing problems. We will work on processing difficult feelings and emotions and explore ways by which you can make progress in your life and achieve your potential.

Cultural and social stigmas as well as preconceived personal views can make the first step towards getting help very difficult. Therefore, I understand the importance of safety and confidentiality in the therapeutic relationship. I abide by strict moral codes and regulations of the industry in relation to issues of privacy and ethics.
I am a member of the BPS (British Psychological Society) and fully accredited by the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). Currently, I am completing a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.
